Peruvian Lentil Soup
Ingredients
1 kilogram of Lentils
½ kilogram of Bacon
5 Tomatoes
3 Onions
2 Garlic cloves
2 Carrots
1 cup of Chicken broth
Oil
Preparation
Step 1 : In a pot, fry the bacon along with the onions and garlic in 2 tablespoons of oil for 2 minutes.
Step 2 : Then, add the lentils and cook for a few more minutes.
Step 3 : Next, add the other vegetables and ingredients, including the chicken broth.
Step 4 : Let everything cook in the pot for approximately half an hour, or until the lentils are tender.
