Ingredients

Arequipa-style Arequipeño

1 kilogram of Meat

3 Potatoes

500 grams of Cabbage

250 grams of Wheat

2 Tomatoes

2 Chilies

2 Garlic cloves

Pumpkin

Oregano

Oil

Water

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : The meat is washed and boiled in a pot with salt and water for 1 hour.

Step 2 : Then, the wheat, pumpkin, cabbage, and chopped potatoes are added, and cooked for an additional 12 minutes.

Step 3 : While the meat is cooking, in a skillet with oil, sauté the chilies, onions, garlic cloves, and chopped tomatoes.

Step 4 : After 2 minutes, add the oregano and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Step 5 : Finally, mix the sautéed ingredients with the meat in the pot and cook for 5 more minutes.

Step 6 : Serve the dish hot.
