Skate Fish Charquicán
Ingredients
1 kilogram of Dried skate fish
1 Finely chopped onion
1 Bell pepper, diced
2 tablespoons of Ground garlic
4 tablespoons of Aji panca powder
2 tablespoons of Licuado amarillo aji (yellow chili pepper puree)
1 Soup seasoning packet
Oil
Salt, pepper, and cumin
Preparation
Step 1 : The fish should be well washed and soaked for a few hours to desalinate it.
Step 2 : Then, shred the fish and set aside.
Step 3 : In a pot with hot oil, sauté the onion and garlic.
Step 4 : Next, add the bell pepper, Aji panca, and yellow chili pepper puree.
Step 5 : Incorporate the fish, seasoning, and season with salt, pepper, and cumin.
Step 6 : Sauté for a few minutes to allow the fish to absorb the flavors.
Step 7 : Finally, serve accompanied by white rice, French fries, and creole sauce.
