Morusa de Pallares
Ingredients
1 kilogram of Pallares
2 Cebollas
200 grams of Piel de cerdo
¼ cup of Aceite de oliva
1 pinch of Sal
1 pinch of Pimienta
Preparation
Step 1 : Soak the pallares in water from the night before, then peel them.
Step 2 : Place them in a pot and cover with water, adding one onion cut in half and the pork skin.
Step 3 : Bring to a boil until the pallares break down, then remove the onion and pork skin.
Step 4 : In a hot skillet with olive oil, chop one onion and cook until transparent.
Step 5 : Add the pallares and cook for another 20 minutes.
Step 6 : Season with salt and pepper, boiling for an additional 15 minutes.
Step 7 : When ready to serve, drizzle with a little more olive oil and accompany with white rice.
