Ingredients

½ kilogram of Beans

½ cup of Oil

1 Onion

150 grams of Smoked rib

1 tablespoon of Green crushed chili

2 teaspoons of Finely chopped garlic

1 teaspoon of Dried thyme

Water

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : The beans are soaked in water the night before and cooked in a pot with clean water until tender, changing the water twice during cooking.

Step 2 : Then, finely chop the onion and cut the smoked rib into pieces.

Step 3 : In another pot with hot oil, fry the onion and garlic, add the crushed green chili and the sliced rib.

Step 4 : Next, add the cooked beans and some of the cooking liquid, seasoning with thyme, salt, and pepper.

Step 5 : Cook everything for 15 minutes to blend the flavors.

Step 6 : Finally, serve this dish with rice and creole sauce.
