Ingredients

6 Chicken pieces

3 Garlic cloves

1 cup of Diced onion

2 Carrots

4 tablespoons of Ground yellow chili

½ cup of Peas

1 ½ Cilantro blended

5 Potatoes

Salt, cumin, and pepper

1 Chicken broth concentrate

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious stew, first wash the potatoes and carrots, peel the potatoes and cut into cubes, while the carrots are sliced.

Step 2 : In a pot with oil, fry the chicken pieces until fully golden.

Step 3 : Remove the chicken and in the same pot add the onion, sautéing until translucent.

Step 4 : Then add the chopped garlic and stir to prevent burning.

Step 5 : Add the ground yellow chili and sauté for a maximum of five minutes.

Step 6 : Add the chicken seasoning to the mixture, along with chicken broth if you wish to intensify the flavor.

Step 7 : Mix well and add the sliced carrots.

Step 8 : In a blender, place the cilantro and one cup of water to blend, then pour this mixture into the stew pot.

Step 9 : Mix well and add the peas and chopped potatoes.

Step 10 : Finally, add the fried chicken with a cup of boiling water and cook for 20 minutes.

Step 11 : Once ready, serve this delicious stew accompanied by white rice, yuca, or beans.
