Chicken Cau Cau
Ingredients
½ kilogram of Chicken breasts cut into cubes
¼ cup of Vegetable oil
2 Chopped onions
½ tablespoon of Ground garlic
2 Crushed fresh chilies
1 teaspoon of Cumin
½ cup of Chicken broth
2 cups of Diced potatoes
1 teaspoon of Lemon juice
2 tablespoons of Chopped fresh mint
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
1 pinch of Cumin
Preparation
Step 1 : In a medium pot, heat the oil and add the onion.
Step 2 : Sauté over medium heat until soft.
Step 3 : Then, add the garlic, crushed chilies, and cumin, mix, and cook for another minute.
Step 4 : Next, season with salt, pepper, and cumin to taste, then add the chicken broth, chicken, and potatoes.
Step 5 : Bring to a boil over medium heat until the chicken and potatoes are cooked.
Step 6 : Add the chopped mint and lemon juice, mix well, and adjust seasoning.
Step 7 : Finally, serve with white rice.
