Ground yellow chili pepper (aji amarillo)

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dish, start by cooking and peeling the potatoes.

Step 2 : Then, pass them through a potato press or sieve to form a purée.

Step 3 : Let the purée cool down and knead it, then season with salt, white pepper, lemon juice, ground chili, and oil, to taste, as if making a causa.

Step 4 : Once the seasoned purée is ready, place parchment paper or plastic wrap on a flat surface and spread a thin layer of the potato mixture, the same size as the nori seaweed.

Step 5 : On top of this potato layer, place a sheet of nori seaweed.

Step 6 : The next layer involves mixing the crab pulp with lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper.

Step 7 : Spread this crab mixture over the nori, covering it completely.

Step 8 : Next, place a row of avocado about 2 cm from the nearest edge, and using the parchment or plastic wrap, roll it tightly until you form a roll.

Step 9 : Wrap the roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Step 10 : Before serving, remove the plastic wrap and place the roll on a flat surface.

Step 11 : Using a sharp knife or electric slicer, cut the roll into slices of 1.5 to 2 cm.

Step 12 : Finally, the dish is ready to be enjoyed.
