Octopus Ceviche

Ingredients

400 grams of Octopus

70 milliliters of Lemon juice

2 Sliced sweet potatoes

2 Cooked corn

½ Julienned onion

8 Tomatoes sliced

1 tablespoon of Ground yellow chili

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : Wash the octopus and scrub it with coarse salt.

Step 2 : Arrange the tomato slices at the bottom of a pot and place the octopus on top.

Step 3 : Cook covered for approximately 25 minutes, testing the softness of the octopus.

Step 4 : Remove the octopus from the pot, scrub to remove dark skin, rinse, and cut the tentacles.

Step 5 : Place in a dish and add lemon, chili, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix and let marinate.

Step 6 : Serve the octopus ceviche with corn and sweet potato.
