Choritos a la Chalaca
Ingredients
24 Mussels
1 cup of Chopped onion
2 tablespoons of Chopped white part of green onion
1 tablespoon of Deveined and deseeded lime chili
2 tablespoons of Deveined and deseeded yellow chili
¼ cup of Lemon juice
1 tablespoon of Olive oil
1 tablespoon of Chopped cilantro
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare the garlic-style mussels, the first step is to thoroughly wash the shells and cook them in salted water until they open.
Step 2 : Those that do not open should be discarded.
Step 3 : Once they are ready and cooled, remove the shell that is not attached to the mollusk and clean them.
Step 4 : In a container, mix all the ingredients and cover the mussels with this mixture.
Step 5 : If desired, you can add corn to the preparation.
Step 6 : It is important to discard mussels with broken or open shells before cooking, as well as those that float during cooking.
