3 kilograms of Cassava
½ kilogram of Sugar
½ liter of Boiled water
Preparation
Step 1 : The cassava is peeled, washed, and cooked.
Step 2 : Then it is mashed, and sugar and water are added, mixing well.
Step 3 : This mixture is poured into a clay jar or container, where it will sit for 6 days to ferment.
Step 4 : For a more intense flavor, it can be left to macerate for 10 days.
Step 5 : Once macerated, the mixture is combined with water and strained through a colander.
Step 6 : Finally, the beverage is ready to be consumed directly or boiled, depending on preference.
