Kiwicha Chicha
Ingredients
4 liters of Water
200 grams of Quinoa
Brown sugar
5 Cloves
3 Cinnamon sticks
1 Lemon balm sprig
Ground cinnamon
A pinch of nutmeg
Preparation
Step 1 : In a pot, add enough water along with the cloves, cinnamon sticks, lemon balm, and nutmeg.
Step 2 : Once the water is boiling, add the quinoa and let it cook until ready.
Step 3 : After cooking the quinoa, strain it using a colander.
Step 4 : Let it cool and then add brown sugar to taste.
Step 5 : Place the mixture in a clay vessel and let it ferment for two days.
Step 6 : Finally, serve the beverage with ground cinnamon to taste.
