Prepared with tender pallares, eggs, evaporated milk, Parmesan cheese, and spices, this creamy and delicate dessert is perfect for sharing on any special occasion.
Baked Milk with Pallares Greens
Ingredients
¾ kilogram of Pallares
6 Eggs
1 ¾ cup of Evaporated Milk
½ cup of Water
2 tablespoons of Flour
4 tablespoons of Butter
½ cup of Grated Parmesan Cheese
½ teaspoon of Nutmeg
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : Pallares are cooked in boiling water until tender and then set aside.
Step 2 : In a medium pot, melt 3 tablespoons of butter, add the flour, cook it, and remove from heat.
Step 3 : Next, add the warm milk and ½ cup of water to the mixture and cook, stirring constantly until it thickens.
Step 4 : Season with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg, then remove from heat and mix with the beaten eggs.
Step 5 : Then add the Parmesan cheese and pallares, gently stirring to combine well, and adjust the seasoning.
Step 6 : Grease a mold with the remaining butter, sprinkle with flour, and pour the mixture into the mold.
Step 7 : Finally, bake until set and golden.
