Traditional Ponderaciones
Ingredients
3 Eggs
¾ cup of Fresh milk
1 cup of Flour
Oil for frying
Ground sugar
1 can of Sweetened condensed milk
1 can of Evaporated milk
5 Beaten egg yolks
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this delicious recipe, first mix the eggs in a bowl with the milk and flour.
Step 2 : Then, gently beat the mixture until a smooth batter is obtained.
Step 3 : Next, heat plenty of oil in a pot.
Step 4 : Once hot, dip a special ponderaciones mold into the hot oil.
Step 5 : Remove the mold and carefully dip it into the mixture, avoiding reaching the top.
Step 6 : Return the mold to the boiling oil only until the batter is lightly golden, about half a minute.
Step 7 : Then, remove the ponderación from the oil and shake the mold to easily release it.
Step 8 : Place on absorbent paper.
Step 9 : To serve, spread manjarblanco on the bottom of the plate, place the ponderación on top, and sprinkle with ground sugar and cinnamon.
Step 10 : To prepare the egg yolk manjarblanco, place the milks in a pot and bring to a boil until slightly thickened.
Step 11 : Then remove from heat, wait two minutes, and gradually add the hot milk mixture over the yolks while constantly stirring.
