Ingredients

2 cups of Desgranado corn

200 grams of Margarine

4 Eggs

1 ½ cup of Semolina

2 cups of Milk

1 cup of Sugar

1 Cinnamon stick

1 teaspoon of Baking powder

1 teaspoon of Toasted sesame seeds

1 cup of Manjar blanco

2 tablespoons of Oil

teaspoon of Anise

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot, boil the milk with cinnamon, margarine, and ½ cup of sugar.

Step 2 : Let it cool and add the semolina.

Step 3 : Then, blend the corn with water, sugar, baking powder, anise, and oil, and mix with the milk.

Step 4 : Add salt and cook for a little while longer over low heat.

Step 5 : Whisk the egg whites to stiff peaks and beat the yolks separately.

Step 6 : Incorporate the yolks into the milk mixture, then fold in the egg whites.

Step 7 : Grease a baking dish and pour half of the mixture, spread manjarblanco over it, and cover with the rest.

Step 8 : Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake at 180°C for 30 minutes or until set.
