Prepared with tender green lentils, eggs, evaporated milk, Parmesan cheese, and spices, this creamy and delicate dessert is ideal for sharing on any special occasion.
Green Lentils Baked Milk
Ingredients
¾ kilogram of Lentils
6 Eggs
1 ½ cup of Evaporated milk
½ cup of Water
2 tablespoons of Flour
4 tablespoons of Butter
½ cup of Grated parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon of Nutmeg
1 pinch of Salt
1 pinch of Pepper
Preparation
Step 1 : Cook the lentils in boiling water until tender and set aside.
Step 2 : In a medium pot, melt 3 tablespoons of butter, add the flour, cook, and remove from heat.
Step 3 : Then, add the warm milk and ½ cup of water to the mixture and cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
Step 4 : Season with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg, remove from heat, and mix with the beaten eggs.
Step 5 : Add the Parmesan cheese and lentils, gently stirring to incorporate well, and adjust seasoning.
Step 6 : Grease a mold with the remaining butter, sprinkle with flour, and pour the mixture into the mold.
Step 7 : Finally, bake until set and golden.
