Ingredients
400 grams of Flour
2 Eggs
1 cup of Anise infusion
3 tablespoons of Sugar
1 teaspoon of Baking powder
2 tablespoons of Butter
1 pinch of Salt
½ liter of Oil
½ cup of Strawberry jam
Preparation
Step 1 : To begin, make the anise infusion with hot water and a bit of sugar.
Step 2 : Place the flour in a bowl with a hollow in the center, add salt, baking powder, eggs, and butter.
Step 3 : Mix well and gradually add the anise infusion, continuing to mix with a spoon.
Step 4 : On a floured surface, turn out the dough and start kneading until it no longer sticks to your hands.
Step 5 : Then, place the dough in the bowl, cover, and let rest for 30 minutes.
Step 6 : After that time, form small balls with the dough and stretch them out.
Step 7 : Heat enough oil in a skillet and fry the balls over medium heat until golden on both sides.
Step 8 : Once fried, remove and place on absorbent paper.
Step 9 : Finally, the balls are ready to be enjoyed with strawberry jam.
